As we move towards the Apost0lic we focus on these 8 things:
1. Prayer...relationship with the Father
There is a tremendous need for our fellowship and churches to reemphasize prayer. Needed: The cultivation of the presence of the Holy Spirit and His leadership. We cannot diminish anything that has happened in the past but we should not be satisfied until we see evidence of the book of Acts. That which is born of Spirit is Spirit, that which is born of the flesh is flesh. Everything flows from this.
2. Holy Spirit Gifts
The gifts will naturally flow in an atmosphere of prayer and these gifts should be to edify the body and reach the lost.
3. The Word
What we believe shapes our world views and more importantly our God View. The Word is an authoritative guide for our faith and conduct.
4. Evangelism
Reaching those in need of Christ.
5. Mentoring
America is largely an unchurched society! To reach the next generation we must develope father-son and mother-daughter spiritual relationships.
6. Relational Ministry and Authority
Authority is derived from relationship.
7. Missional
Our mission is to the tri-county area and from there to the world at large.
8. Church Planting
The proven foremost means of establishing God's kingdom is church planting. Therefore, we are committed to strategically planting churches and teaming with others in the same as God directs us.
